Mini Priceline Haul & First Impressions xx

So today I took advantage of the 40% off at Priceline. If you haven't heard about this yet, it will still be going tomorrow!


Australis Velourlips in Tok-i-o
The main reason I got this is because Jessi from Jessi in Wonderland Blog raves about the vibrancy of these. Although she is right, they are very drying. I noticed that straight away, and to be honest I found it a bit difficult to get even coverage. I can look past that though as they are so bright! I love the purple! Easily fixed with a balm or gloss if I don't want the matte.

Models Prefer Infinite Colour Eye Pencil in Black Cat
This is so BLACK! and to make it a little more special, it has a sparse amount of glitter in it.
It is already starting to be one of my favorite Eyeliner Pencils.
It's very creamy on first impression, and after hearing it being raved about on Youtube, I thought I may try it. Lucky that I have!


Essence Get Big Lashes Mascara
I haven't tried this yet. But I got this as the wand is kind of similar to the Maybelline Colossal Mascara.
I was on a budget thanks to lovely darling fiance, so I thought I may try this.


Garnier BB Cream for Combination to Oily Skin in Light
This was a re-purchase, if you follow the blog you know I already love this.
I have been mixing this with a couple drops of my Kett Cosmetics Foundation as it is a lot lighter than last time I brought it!

Face of Australia Face Base Primer
If you follow me already, you will know that I find primers a bit pointless. I have recently had very bad acne, and my pores are massive, and getting to the point they are stretched and hard to hide. Thought I may actually try a primer to fill them in before applying my BB Cream. I'll see how this goes.
Made a wee bit of a mistake as I got the one with SPF 15 and I do not like that cosmetics...

I loved the final result of this look. Despite the fact that red is definitely not my colour. Would of worked well on anyone else but me, haha ;)

But I did have fum filming it.
Even though all you can hear in the background is Adrian and the children haha.
But oh well, I hope you all enjoy this one.

FOTD - Face of the Day - Miranda Kerr Inspired

Today I decided to do my own Miranda Kerr inspired Makeup look.
I came across this stunning photo of Miranda and this is what I worked from.


I had used paintbox colours on my eyes.
I used Hail (matte white) to highlight, Beige Mist (light shimmery brown) to place all over my lids and Frisky (darker brown) to add a bit more warmth to the eyes. Frisky basically went all over Beige Mist very lightly.



I used David Jones Liquid Foundation in Tan as my base all over my face.


I used the Kett Cosmetics Translucent Powder all over my foundation (before applying powder blush/countour or after applying cream/liquid/mousse Blush) to set my liquid Foundation and take away the shine.


I used the Face of Australia Glossy Lip Crayon in Pecan Pie to try a nice nude purple lip.


These are my concealers. I used Shade Q3 on my face and R1 on my eye area.

For this look I also contoured my cheeks very lightly and used a nice light pink blush to add warmth into the cheeks, and finished with a mascara.
