My top 3 Nappy Bag Necessities!! Xx

Apart from obviously nappies and wipes etc. I do have 3 faves for my kiddies Day Out Bags. They are something most people would have but oh well! Haha I still always have them!

Keep in mind Trinity is 5 and Xander is almost 3.

First up is my loyal Bepanthen antiseptic cream! I love this stuff! It's mainly for Xander for his nappy rash but me and Trin use this as well for scabs, grass rashes from grass everything! This product is a lifesaver and I got it in a smaller tube which is perfect for the Nappy Bag!

My number 2 is sunscreen! You can never know when you need sunscreen. For boiling hot days and overcast days. I usually take a big bottle but I have this little clip on one from cancer council just incase (I am super prepared)!!! I am constantly on top of the kids for being sun smart, so it's good having this one as it isn't cluttering up my bag and is easy to access.

Last but not least, hand sanitiser. Since the kids are a bit older and always go, go, go... I take hand sanitiser incase we go for a day out, grab some lunch and there is no where to wash hands where we are eating. Wipes to get the dirt off and sanitiser to just make sure :) I'm not an absolute freak when it comes to this, but after using the toilet and before eating is a must!! Dirt isn't bad for kids, it helps them build a good immune system, and honestly, who didn't eat dirt and sand and snails? I did, except snails.. My brother tried eating a snail when he was little haha.

So that is all for my top 3 :) what are your top 3 for your nappy bag? Keep in mind this is for older kiddies and not babies :) haha so when you reapond say your kiddies age :) I love hearing kiddie stories :)

Family Update & Activity to Help Improve the Fine Motor Skills of Children.

So this week with the kiddies has been great :) My partner has been back at work so I have been home with the kids!

We have had so much fun this week! Trin had one day off kindy cause she was sick and she was a bit bored as she didn't have that interaction with other children, so to compensate we had done a lot of finger painting!!

They really enjoyed experimenting with mixing colours and I think Xander enjoyed it the most as it was all new to him in a sense, and he loved making purple with his red and blue.

Another thing that happened this week is Xander and myself had a bit of experimenting with Daddy's photography camera :) we ended up getting so many cute photo's :) here is one:

This was my favourite..

And last but not least my activity for helping improve motor skills. It's not something to do all the time, but it worked and got Xander's little fingers working!

At the start of the year Xander hadn't come very far in his speech. He could only really say Daddy, Mummy, Emma, Boots and Butters (our gorgeous cats) since then his speech has improved dramatically and now we are just working on his fine motor skills.

I got Xander in the garden yesterday and he loved it. I started with bean seeds as they were easier for  him to pick up and count as he was putting them into a pot. But we got to the smaller seeds (broccoli and carrot) and it was harder for him to pick up which got his hand eye co-ordination really working!
He eventually got there and at dinner time I noticed a small improvement in his usage of his fork! So here is Xander is the garden:

Formula 10.0.6 Oil-Absorbing Mud Mask Review xx

I am literally a freak of nature!
My skin is seriously sooo oily! Like beyond comprehension!

One thing I have noticed with oily skin, is that it is such a hard skin type to deal with.
Levels of oiliness tend to vary from day to day and person to person.
My skin will be heavy with oil one day and light the next.
But finally I have found a product to help me with all those variations!

Recently on a trip down the street with my mumma, I got the Formula 10.0.6 Oil-Absorbing Mud Mask! and oh my gosh I am loving this product so much! It really works for me :)
it goes on a cream and dries hard and really does attack the oily-ness.

One thing I did learn on my studies and through other artists, was that if you strip the skin of all the oils, it promotes the skin to make more! Ew shine! and if you add to much synthetic moisture, it prompts the skin to flush it away with.. well you guessed it, more oily stuff! YUCKY!

But this product is like the god of oily skin products. It doesn't strip my skin completely of my natural oils, and it doesn't add a hell of a lot back into my skin.

So literally all I use for my daily dose of skin care is my BE Cleanser, and a tad bit of moisturizer (depending) and 2 times a week my Mud Mask! and well, I am loving life!

So if you have oily skin, give this one a shot guys! It really is worth it! :)

(Oh and btw, this comes with 2 sachets. and literally one sachet does my face neck and top of my shoulders!! great value for money at Priceline!!)

BE Clean Foaming Cleanser

BE

I got this yesterday when I picked up some new stuff from Priceline. I really needed a new cleanser, like badly needed it. So I thought I would give this one a shot, despite the fact I had never heard of this Brand.
So far I have used this twice, followed with a mud mask and my Garnier moisturizer.

Due to the fact I have super oily skin, I have been looking for a gentle cleanser that doesn't have beads in it (i have an iron deficiency so I tend to get cuts and tears in my skin from beaded cleansers) and something that wont make my skin thing "omg I need to make more oil!!"

So far so good. In a months time I will do another post to update how I have been going with this product and if my skin had started to get a bit better!

Talk to you more about this product in a months time!!

Essence Me & My Ice Cream Lip Balm

So today I headed into Priceline and picked up a few things. One of the things I had gotten was a lip balm from the Essence Me & My Ice Cream range.

This lip balm is average. I am not the biggest fan. You remember how when you were little and you would get the kids lip balm and glitter sets? Well this lip balm is like the ones you get in that.

It is thick and heavy and not very nourishing. So if you lips were already chapped (which mine where) it hurts to put on.

This would not be something I would buy again. There isn't much movement and moisture in it for me. So I think I will stick to my lip smackers... Haha

Subtle Smoky Eye xx

I love smoky eyes, but sometimes it just makes me look like a cake face if I am wearing a bold lip or I am wearing it during a nice sunny day.

On those types of occasions, I will opt for a subtle Smoky Eye. This look is actually quite easy to create and looks great with almost anything. Since it is now spring I have been straight back into my Coral Colours and Orange. Orange Lippy is a must for me in Spring :)

So here is how to achieve a subtle smoky eye:

My two main brushes for this look is a bullet and a flat brush.

So I don't like to wear eye primer. It just doesn't feel right to me and my makeup will tend to "slip" as I call it from the silicone in eye primer. I do use it sometimes but it isn't a staple in my cosmetics bag. Instead I will just use a concealer and a professional one by a brand named Kett. So above I have just applied that to my lids but just use whatever works best for you.

As we all know a cream or liquid must be set with a powder so I have just used a matte skin coloured eye shadow, and then highlighted with a matte white :) I prefer a matte white as apposed to a traditional shimmer. That'd just my preference as I am very tan most of the year through so a shimmer white gives me a weird look.
I have also filled in my brows. I just use an eyeshadow.

Then I have taken a dark grey liner with a bit of shimmer. Drawn it onto the back of my hand like a crayon, ran my straight eye brush through it, and applied it to the outer third of my upper and lower lid and smudged out with my dome brush.

Then all that's left is to come in with a foundation lightly (if you wear it) and face powder to set it. Then a nice coral blush and Orange lippy. And well, of course, mascara!

Hope you enjoyed my quick and easy spring look with a subtle twist on the smoky eye!

Kardashian Kollection xx

So if you know me well, then you will know that I simply love the Kardashion Kollection range. And I always buy from Strandbags. KK is my go to for handbags, purses and clutches.

So when my partner randomly picked this one up for me on our most recent trip to Melbourne, I was over the moon!

And best of all (which shows he knows me well) he got an animal print one for me. Man I adore him. I love animal print. Even our shower curtain is animal print!!

So just showing off my new purse/clutch. Yes a 2in1!!! It's between the both in size. It has the best set up! And heaps of card and money space! I don't usually keep money in my purse, but I usually keep my bills and receipts in there! So yeah, that's my latest accessorise. Hope you enjoyed this :)
