Maybelline Colour Tattoo's xx

Yesterday I picked up the Maybelline Color Tattoo's.
I got the colours 20 Painted Purple, 25 Bad to the Bronze and 40 Tenacious Teal.

When purchasing in store, I was really disappointed with my local Priceline.
All the swatches had dried up, and because of that, I purchase because of colours that "looked nice" and I will explain why in a minute, why I was disappointed.

I love the packaging kind of. I have found a lot of the packaging labels were very off center, more so the ones on the bottom, which I did not take a photo of, oops. This is really due to mass production. I hate it though, as a blogger, products I love and blog about, I want to showcase them at their best. No biggy, but I do love they fact they are glass pots.

I love these a fair bit as eye shadow bases or just alone. Once it's on, it's set and doesn't budge.
Yesterday, I walked down the street with it, and with the minor sweat, no budging. Even removal with eye makeup remover was a bit hard to make it budge.

I was really really happy with my brown and blue colour, BUT I wish I had the chance to swatch the purple in real life properly. I love the shimmery-ness in these, which is half the reason I got them. I will be using them as a lid colour.
In the pot, it looked like a gorgeous deep purple. When I got home, It was nothing like it.
I had almost no shimmer like the blue and brown, and I actually found the purple to be a bit patchy during application. It was nothing like the other two.

You may not be able to tell in these photo's but in the pot it looks to be a nice deep phantom purple. Once I swatch or use it, it goes almost to a lavender colour. I have also noticed that it loves the little lines in the skin, and I had to layer it to get a good colour.

I will see how I go with this product a bit further down the track.
If it doesn't improve within the next couple days I will be returning this product.
In my full review, I will post how I have gone with this certain colour and whether I have returned it or not.

Paintbox Cosmetics's Palette's!

As you may of noticed by my previous posts I love Paintbox Cosmetics!
And if you have paid attention to those previous posts, this range is only available to professional make-up artists. :( Big sad face! Sorry guys!

But anyways...
I got a couple palette's as you can probably tell by the pictures about. Blush (left) Eyeshadow (right)! Before I go into each palette I will let you know that the exterior of the palette's are of a leather-type origin. I'm not sure if it is genuine or faux! But it still cleans well! Better than a plastic matte or shiny or shimmer finish!

So lets start with the eyeshadow palette!
I adore this palette! Although the colours are limited, it is a great neautral palette that works for both day and night looks! :) And this palette comes with Shimmers and Matte's which is such a great idea for artists. The colours are highly pigmented, and work very well! Most colours are easily blend-able, but a few (mainly Black) that are great colours but take a lot of time an effort to blend. Not the best, but it is simply fixed by just patting the colour on with your finger.

Secondly this is the blush palette.
This is my second favourite product that I have ever brought from Paint Box Cosmetics!
This palette has two creme blushes and four powder (left four).
The colour sit well in the face and a super pigmented. So use a little for a light coverage, or a lot for a super heavy look! So great for burlesque looks!
The creme blushes have a night highlighted nature to them, and making the skin look radiant and youthful. The top left one is such a beautiful blush, a nice marbled pink and shimmer blush!

Overall these are the best palette that I have gotten my hands on!
So I hope this review helps all you Professionals looking for a new brand to discover for your Professional kits! :D

Sugar Bomb Cream Glitter Eye Shadow xx

So here is another little prezzie that I got from my Mum for Chrissy!
I'm pretty sure this is just a cheapie from Big W :)
Now I wasn't expecting much from this, but oh well.

I wasn't very happy with this.
The glitter didn't smooth over the lid properly

I found that the creams crease badly in the crease line of the eye. And you would end up with Glitter through the crease. This product would be a lot better if there was a colour behind the Glitter, so that the creasing  wouldn't be as bad.

Tha pans also aren't very deep, so there is little next to none glitter in each pan.
It's overly dissappointing.

Models Prefer Blue Eyes Tutorial Palette xx

I am the queen of Palette's! I love them! They make life so convenient!
So today I decided to try something a little diff and picked up this tutorial Palette by Models Prefer! The good thing about this Palette is that it has both a day and night look! :) YEW!
So as you can tell above, there are instructions explaining how to create both day and night make-up! And below it had the instructions also on the palette! :)

The instructions are simple to follow, so this is the idea present for that particular friend that wants to try something different, or the younger sister who isn't very experienced with make-up !
I love the fact that the instructions are there! But remember my beautiful ladies, that you don't always have to follow the instructions!

So these 3 are the colours for the day make-up.
It is a very natural look! I would have to say that I did love this look a lot better than the blue!
The colours of this look are much easier to blend, and has a really nice smooth finish. I actually love number 1. It's such a nice soft natural colour, and very good for colour bases! And the highlight colour has so much shine to it! :) Definitely a win!

The right side is the Smokey Eye!
I wasn't very happy with this. The blue is very hard to blend and wears off quickly! Which is a shame because it's such a beautiful blue! I love the white of this side though! It's a nice shimmer, and blends well. But I did find the number 2 a very ugly colour and didn't blend well with the blue at all!
Now you know why I love the natural look the best hehe :)

And the other little treat that came with this was a mini eyeliner!
I have to admit, I don't think this is a soft enough pencil for the water line though :(
But it worked well on the upper lid and showed up fine on the colours! But this still doesn't mean that I'm parting from my beloved Gel eyeliner haha! Sorry Models Prefer! <3

LOL Glitter Cream Eye Shadow's x

So it was yesterday and I was having a little shop around Horsham with my Mum after a Design Technology Lecture in preparation for Year. 12 exams. Woo! Not much longer of Year.12 now my lovelies! :)

I went into K-Mart and found this cute little cheap glitter cream eye shadow.
It cost me around $3 and it's by a brand names LOL

So above pictures is the inside of the mini palette.
I wasn't expecting much from a cheap brand but surprisingly I was actually happy!
I love Glitter, and these cream's make it so much easier to apply.
The glitter is distributed throughout the cream thoroughly, the colours come up well.

This is a swatch of the Glitters. From lightest to darkest of the two different colours.

Miki Colour Me Beautiful Palette Review.

I only bought this about 3 weeks ago.
At first I wasn't the biggest fan as the colours weren't very pigmented, so I moved this palette onto everyday use as I like to still wear colours during the day, but not colours that are OTT.

It is a very nude palette, as most colours are pinks, blues and browns. The browns are amazing as they look so light and fluffy on the lid. My favorited shadow was actually the white. It had a lot of glitter, and it was a very strong white.

I use it mainly for the inner corners of my eyes, but I also use it below the outter third of my brown as a highlighter.

The pinks in the palette aren't very strong. It took me a lot of effort to get the colour to show, but I did love the blues. For a $15 buy, I was happy. Some colour I may not use, but what I get out of the ones I do use, is totally worth the $15 I spent.
